National School Teacher Transfer Orders 2025 — Now Available Online

Official Announcement — Effective Today

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has released the 2025 Annual and Compulsory Transfer Orders for national school teachers in selected subjects. Teachers may log in to view their orders immediately.

Appeal Deadline

May 11, 2026

⚠ Important: If a teacher has received a new 2025 transfer order while a previously issued or extended order was still pending, the earlier order is now considered void. Only the latest 2025 order is valid.

Appeals Process & Key Deadlines

April 27 – May 11, 2026

Online Appeal Submission

Submit your appeal online via the official portal at nstt.moe.gov.lk. All appeals must be completed within this window.

By May 12, 2026

Physical Documentation to Principal

A printed copy of your appeal, along with all required attachments, must be handed to the Principal of your current school by this date.

By May 12, 2026

Principal's Recommendation

School Principals must enter their recommendations into the online system by end of day May 12.

By May 14, 2026 — Final Deadline

Submission to Ministry — Teacher Transfer Branch

Principals must deliver the printed applications along with the TTB/APPEAL LIST to the Teacher Transfer Branch of the Ministry — either in person or via registered post.
