Aptitude Test University of the Visual and Performing Arts (UVPA) – Academic Year 2025/2026

The University of the Visual and Performing Arts (UVPA), Sri Lanka has officially announced the calling for applications for the Aptitude Test for University Admission – Academic Year 2025/2026, based on G.C.E A/L 2025 results.

This aptitude test is mandatory for admission into selected degree programmes.

• Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours)
• Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music / Dance / Drama) Honours

📅 Application Period

• Opening Date: 26 April 2026
• Closing Date: 11 May 2026

Applicants must submit their applications within this period.

✅ Minimum Entry Requirements

According to the official notice (see page 1 of the document) :

• At least Two (2) Ordinary Passes (S) in any two A/L subjects
• At least One Credit Pass (C) in the relevant subject (Music, Dance, Drama, Art & Sculpture, etc.)

Candidates awaiting re-scrutiny results or with withheld results are also eligible to apply.

• Applying for the aptitude test alone is not sufficient.

• Rs. 2,000 per course

• National Identity Card (NIC)
• Passport-size photograph (blue background)
• G.C.E A/L 2025 result sheet

❌ Rejection Conditions

Applications will be rejected if:

• Incomplete
• Contain false information
• Submitted after the deadline

⚠️ Fees will not be refunded in such cases.
