Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc. Special / Honours Degree in Chemistry with a minimum Second Class (Upper Division) from a recognised university — OR — equivalent qualification in Chemistry with a minimum of one year of teaching experience.
• Good communication skills in English, computer literacy, and ability to handle assigned academic tasks efficiently.
• Ability to teach and evaluate Chemistry courses at SLQF Level 1 and 2 in Tamil for the Advanced Certificate Programme.

Duration & Remuneration

• Appointment made initially for six (6) months, extendable up to four years based on performance.
• Monthly salary: Rs. 70,000/= (inclusive of EPF & ETF).
• Normal working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. – 4.15 p.m.
• As an ODL institution, selected candidates must also carry out academic duties on weekends and public holidays at the Regional Centre of OUSL.
