The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) is now calling applications for its Advanced Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (ESBM) for the academic year 2026/2027. Successful completion of this programme will qualify you to enrol for the Bachelor of Management Studies Honours Degree Programme at OUSL — without sitting for the admission test.

✅ Entry Qualifications
Applicants must be 16 years of age or above as of the closing date of the application and meet one of the following requirements:
- 1 Passed six (06) subjects including Mathematics and First Language, with at least two Credit Passes at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination (Sri Lanka) in no more than two sittings
- 2 Completed any Certificate Programme with 30 credits at Level 01 or above conducted by The Open University of Sri Lanka
- 3 Obtained a qualification at NVQF Level 3 or above acceptable to the Senate
- 4 Any equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate of OUSL
🎓 No A/L Required
This programme is accessible to students who have completed O/L — making it an excellent pathway for those who did not proceed to A/L or who want to build business skills alongside any career.
