Pass 06 subjects in one sitting — Credit (C) passes required in Mathematics, Science, Sinhala/Tamil, and English.
A/L
Pass 03 subjects in one sitting (General Common Test excluded).
Physical Requirements

Minimum 5 ft 6 in (167.64 cm)
Chest
Minimum 32 inches (unexpanded)
Vision
Min 6/12 each eye (no glasses/contacts). If one eye is 6/6, other must be at least 6/18.
Other Requirements
Status
Must be unmarried. Divorcees, widows/widowers, or those with children are ineligible.
Character
Applicant and close relatives must have an unblemished record — no criminal convictions.

Selection Process

Preliminary Interview
Verification of basic qualifications, height, and age. Bring a signed copy of your online application.

Endurance Test
1000m run, Chin-ups, Push-ups, Sit-ups, and a memory test (Kim's Game).

Written Examination
Paper I: Comprehension & Language Ability. Paper II: General Knowledge & Intelligence Test.

Selection Interview
Evaluation of extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities, and professional qualifications.

Medical & Background Check
Final verification of physical and mental fitness; character history review.
